Musée du costume et du textile du Québec and Écomusée du fier monde are delighted to invite you to discover the great names in Quebec fashion history

The two organizations are proud to join forces to present an exhibition of selected landmark pieces in Quebec fashion history. Over 50 designer garments from private and museum collections will finally be made available for the public to enjoy in an educational, fun and original exhibition.

From Yvette Brillon’s bold bibi cap to Marielle Fleury’s adorable little coats, or the elegant creations of Marie-Paule Nolin and Arnold Scaasi, the show is a captivating journey through the highest achievements of Quebec fashion design and the history of the Centre-Sud district’s garment industry. Aficionados of clean lines and fine craftsmanship will be as delighted as fans of flamboyant, fanciful designs, as both will be well represented. Pieces by Michel Robichaud, Colpron D’Anjou, John Kelly, Marie Saint-Pierre, Marcel Martel, Jean-Claude Poitras, Raoul-Jean Fouré, Jacques de Montjoye, Renée Chaumont, Lucien Desmarais, Hugh Garber, Gail Lamarche, Clairette Trudel, Mario di Nardo and others will all be on display.

GRIFFÉ QUÉBEC is a fantastic opportunity to see La belle province’s finest "threads".



Admission to Griffé Québec costs $6. Tickets are valid for both the MCTQ and Écomusée du fier monde.
