June begins on a sad note. Fashion Innovator, Hero and Guru Yves St Laurent past away on Sunday at the age of 71. An exhibition featuring the work and career of Yves St Laurent opened at the Montreal Museum of Fine Art on May 29th. This exhibition was designed and developed in partnership with the Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco and the Foundation Pierre Bergé. This is the first retrospective spanning the forty years of his haute couture virtuosity an will be on display in Montreal from May 29th until September 28, 2008. to read more about the exhibition visit the museum’s website
