Cambridge Galleries are pleased to present the third annual exhibition of selected works from their spectacular collection of contemporary Canadian fibre art. Unique in Canada, the collection features works that demonstrate the wide diversity and ingenuity of Canadian artists creating works of art that are textile based and looks to new and innovatibe methods in art-making. The fibre art collection now numbers more than 150 works by artists from coast to coast.

This year’s exhibition will feature selected works collected over the past 17 years, as well as recent acquisitions. All are welcome to attend the opening celebration on the evening of Tuesday, January 30 which will also inlcude a special presentation by collection artists.

Cambridge Galleries’ exhibitions are free and open to the public.
