You are invited to view a new online exhibition of handweaving by textile artist Amanda Byers at Poplar ArtCraft. Using carefully hand-cut stencils and a wax-stamp resist technique with plant dyes, Byers creates work "...flooded with layers of imagery that reflect the nature of time as a continuum of immeasurable cycles."

Influence, an exhibition of handwoven, sculptural textiles by Yuriko Tanaka continues until January 12, 2006

Poplar ArtCraft provides an online space for emerging artists and writers to showcase their work on the internet.

We are currently accepting proposals for one & two month exhibitions of original work by visual artists in all media and previously unpublished manuscripts of critical writing for a one month showcase on our text page. Curators may also submit proposals for a group exhibition.
